I have a hidden disability, can I get assistance at the airport?

If you, or a travel companion, have a hidden disability and require assistance at the airport, we ask that you inform us no later than 48 hours prior to your flight.

You can book this service (DPNA*) through the Service Team.

Upon arrival at the check-in desk, you can request to be accompanied through the terminal and to the boarding gate. Passengers who book this service with us will not be left unaccompanied during this time. Priority Boarding is included in this service.

*DPNA is a special service code which stands for “Disabled Passenger with Intellectual or Developmental Disability Needing Assistance”.

Keflavik International Airport - Sunflower

 Keflavík Airport, along with other airports are in cooperation with the company Hidden DisabilitiesLink opens in a new tab, which offers passengers with hidden disabilities a sunflower lanyard to wear while going through the airport.
The staff at the airport is informed that passengers wearing these lanyards might need more time, patience and understanding while at the airport.

It is easy to get the lanyard. You can do it either at the service counter in the departure hall, at the information desk at the arrival hall, or at the service provider's check-in counter.

Passengers do not need to state their reason for wearing the lanyard.
