Baltimore's Inner Harbor has been operational since the 18th century and is still a significant part of the city. The Inner Harbor is located south of downtown to connect with a seven-mile waterfront brick promenade. 

The place is usually considered a tourist trap. This is due to its convenient location and scenic strolls. When you're in Inner Harbor, you can visit shopping malls or enjoy street performances. You can access Federal Hill's summit in two ways: rolling hill or stairs. If you opt for stairs, be prepared to go up 100 stairs through Battery Avenue. On the other hand, you can use a rolling hill through Warren Avenue. No stairs on Warren Avenue, but you'll enjoy beautiful scenic hillside views.

Federal Hill Park also boasts a good playground with trendy shops and restaurants. The best thing is you'll not be charged to access the park. So if you visit Baltimore, try to visit this place, especially at night, to enjoy the view of the city.

The Edgar Allan Poe House and Museum is the house of the famous American writer. Allan Poe is known for his imaginative and horrifying short stories and poems. Allan lived in this row house turned museum for years, writing most of his best work.

When you visit Edgar Allan Poe Museum, you'll see Poe artifacts such as a writing table and telescope. You'll notice the house isn't furnished, but you'll get a chance to go around the stairs and hallways used by Poe 200 years ago. Also, the museum management has an audio tour that helps you maneuver the house.

The Edgar Allan Poe House and Museum are open from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. every Thursday to Sunday. Note that it is closed from Monday to Wednesday.

Fort McHenry National Monument is where Francis Scott Key got the inspiration to write the American anthem. This occurrence happened during the War of 1812 when he was detained in the Chesapeake Bay. Scott Key indicated that he saw 15 stars in a flag, symbolizing victory over the British army. 

This site for the battle is inspirational and one of the most tourist destinations in Baltimore. Visit this historical shrine to understand the history of the 42-foot flag related to the War of 1812. Still, the monument has a ground that can accommodate a family for a picnic.

Patterson Park is a 300-year-old park with a lake, Pagoda, marble fountain, and dog ground. You can visit the place for concerts and events or enjoy the scenery. One of the best scenery is Pagoda, a top Hampstead Hill built in 1890. This place shows unobstructed views of the city.

The USS Constellation is a sailing ship used by the U.S navy to disrupt the slave trade. The ship is currently docked at the pier in the Inner Harbor. Today, the USS Constellation is accessible to the public. You can climb on the ship and tour the entire Constellation.
