Palma Catedral was restored after an earthquake in 1851; the restoration process sought to add neo-Gothic details to the cathedral’s Renaissance design.

Palau de l’Almudaina
Palau de l’Almudaina is the symbolic residency of the King of Spain. While the King typically isn’t on-sight, this doesn’t lessen the architectural beauty of Paula de l’Almudaina.
This structure was originally an Islamic Fort, but King James II of Mallorca rebuilt it into a royal palace. The palace incorporates Gothic arches, grand rooms, lavish décor, and gorgeous uses of Romanesque marble.
Parc Natural de S’Albufera
The Parc Natural de S’Albufera contains 688 hectares (1650.6 acres) of protected wetlands and nature trails. If you like to birdwatch, a trip to Mallorca isn’t complete until you stop by Parc Natural de S’Albufera.
While admission to the park is free, you’ll need to acquire a permit from the nearby visitor center. Approximately 303 species call this park home.
It’s known that 64 species of birds use the park as their breeding grounds. There are also 400 plant species in the park, including wildflowers that bring exquisite splashes of color during the spring months.

Palau March
The Palau March is one of the homes belonging to the March family (known for their extensive wealth). It functions as a museum that showcases several artistic pieces.

Polléntia
Polléntia is the location of authentic Roman ruins. The Casas dels Dos Tresors (the House of the Two Treasures) is fantastically preserved; this gives you the chance to see an original Roman house.
You’ll also see what’s left of the Forum, the heart of Roman life, including shops and temples. The Teatre Romá (the Roman Theatre) is also in Polléntia.
This Roman Theatre held 1,000 spectators; parts of the front orchestra and seating sections for spectators are still intact.
